Make a note to keep off the roads on 21 June! This is the date set by Performance Bikes road tester John McAvoy to ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End in a day without using any motorways. He and some mates are doing the 900 mile ride to raise money for Cancer Research and, to make what John describes as a near impossible challenge even more difficult, he will be riding an 1985 Kawasaki GPZ 750R that he’s prepared himself!
