We are looking for experienced candidates with a knowledge of Motorcycle and/or Automotive trade retail operations and preferably a track record in business to business sales to work for one of the most progressive and expanding motorcycle manufacturer brands in the UK.

Ideal Candidate

EVENT: BIKE SHED HOLDS FESTIVAL AT RACE CIRCUIT

BIKE SHED HOLDS FESTIVAL AT RACE CIRCUIT



The Bike Shed is to run a new biking festival at Lydden Hill race circuit in Kent later this year, allowing retro enthusiasts to experience both on-track and off-road action. The event has been launched after the success of the Shed’s first Café Racer Cup, which took place at the circuit last year and will include a variety of other classes, including 125s, carbed sportsbikes and supermotos.

Interestingly, the festival, which will run from 4-6 October, will also include The Commuter Cup, which is open to riders in hi-vis on bikes with panniers and top boxes. Overtakes must be made with indication, or the place yielded. The Bike Shed is based at Shoreditch in London.

The event is primarily designed for those who have little to no track-day experience and have never considered racing, riders will be split into groups according to their lap times during practice, recorded via transponders.

Those wanting off-road action are also catered for by Malle London, who will host The Malle Trials comprising of a series of races on inappropriate machinery up the grassy hill beside the track.

Run as a weekend festival, pitches are available for tents, as well as showers and washing facilities. Glamping is also available, with tickets available through the Bike Shed Festival website.

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our busy marketing department, based at our UK head office near Woking, for a dynamic individual with an interest to develop their career within the motorcycle industry.
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing the successful candidate would be part of a team of four consisting of two other Coordinators as well as a Market Analyst.

The successful candidate will ideally have a flair and enthusiasm for digital advertising and be proactive with CRM systems. These being key responsibilities of the role, they will need to maximise opportunities for the business with potential end customer’s whilst further strengthening the brand with a customer centric approach.

Although dealing with both road and off-road product, there is a large off-road element to the role and other marketing activities will include but are not limited to:
Liaisons with and PR for race teams and riding schools. Exhibition and Event Management, visual identity support to our very important Dealer Network as well as building solid relationships with the press, colleagues in the UK and in Europe to ensure the maximum success of sales for all our product groups and achievement of our “one company” marketing initiatives.

Those that apply will need to be able to work in team environments, have a flexible approach and strive to better their knowledge and skills every day.

You must have a full motorcycle licence at the time of application, have a good understanding of IT systems and a marketing qualification would be considered an advantage, along with some relevant experience.

Due to our continued growth and success we are looking for two fully qualified, experienced Motorcycle Technicians to join our workshop team on the Wiltshire/Dorset border, in our premium multi franchised dealership.
Moto Corsa is an official dealer for MV Agusta, Brough Superior, Royal Enfield, Benelli, Energica, Moto Guzzi and Aprilia.

Ideal Candidate
The suitable candidate should ideally be qualified to NVQ level 3 or C & G equivalent or higher and have a minimum of 3 years mechanical experience-  either automotive or motorcycle.

Essential
You should be able to work unsupervised in a safe and timely manner to high exacting standards. You must have technical experience of modern motorcycles and be able to use current diagnostic equipment.

From time to time you may also be required to talk to customers and as such you must be able to communicate clearly and provide technical explanations in a way that can be easily understood. You will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing customers bikes and preparing new and used bikes for the sales team as well as fitting and fixing accessories and aftermarket spares for customer orders ready for collection or delivery.

A full bike and car licence is essential.

If you are a qualified MOT tester that would be advantageous although not necessary but you must have the criteria to become an MOT tester.

MotoCorsa is treats training very highly – both as a retail shop and training of dealers for our imported product. Therefore, occasional nights away from home will be required.
