APPLEYARD GETS MBE FROM QUEEN

The Queen- a chance to meet Colin Appleyard

The Queen congratulates a proud Colin Appleyard on his 60 years service to motorcycle sport as she presents him with the MBE he was awarded in the New Year’s Honours list. The Keighley dealer was accompanied on his visit to London by wife Peggy, son Robin, daughter Judith and granddaughter Cassie. Afterwards, the family celebrated with champagne and afternoon tea at the Ritz Hotel.
