ANOTHER RECORD FOR TT FERRIES

The Steam Packet says it brought 35,000 passengers and 11,500 motorcycles to the Island on ferries between 22 May and 7 June this year. Bike figures do not include the substantial number which also come over in vans.

Advance bookings for the Isle of Man Festival of Motorcycling in the final two weeks of August, which now incorporates the Manx Grand Prix and the newly-rebranded Classic TT races, are currently up by 24 per cent on this point last year.
