EVENT: Hit the open road with the King of the Jungle

Hit the open road with the King of the Jungle

Would you like a once in a lifetime opportunity to partner with Carl Fogarty to lead over 3,000 bikers at the Bike4LifeFest Ride Out 2015 on Sunday 26 April?

The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity (MAAC) is offering one lucky biker the chance to team up with current King of the Jungle and seven times World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty at the very front of the Bike4Life 2015 Ride Out.

The much-anticipated 23-mile Ride Out, one of the biggest and best biker events in the country, will begin at Meole Brace in Shrewsbury and finish at the event’s prestigious home at RAF Museum Cosford near Wolverhampton, where the Bike4Life Festival will be underway.

To enter the competition and get up close and personal with the world champion, bikers must be registered for the Bike4Life Ride Out online. The winner will be personally greeted by Carl at the start line and ride by his side right through to RAF Museum Cosford cheered by thousands of spectators along the 23-mile route. At the end of the Ride Out, Carl will present the lucky winner with a gift bag full of biking gear.

Bike4Life Fest, which is partnered with RAF Museum Cosford and the Safer Road Partnership, aims to raise awareness of biker safety as well as vital funds for the life-saving charity.

Carl Fogarty said: “It’s a great honour to be leading the Bike4Life Ride Out and it will be an unforgettable experience for our lucky competition winner. I’d urge all bikers who want to be part of this spectacular to sign up and join me on the route.

“The life-saving work of the Midlands Air Ambulance is a vital lifeline for bikers and I am pleased to be able to support and raise awareness for this brilliant cause.”

Jason Levy, fundraising and marketing director for Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “Carl’s support of the event is fantastic and will undoubtedly make it our best year yet. Since we announced Carl’s involvement, registrations have gone through the roof and as we’re limited to just 3,500 places, we’re urging those interested to sign up before they potentially miss out.

“With a record number of visitors expected at this year’s event, we hope to turn it up a gear and exceed last year’s fundraising total, which stood at £30,000.”

With arena displays, stalls, exhibitions, biker tutorials and music from Planet Rock 105.2FM, the Bike4Life Fest promises to be a great day out for bikers and families.

To register and be entered into a prize draw to lead the ride-out with Carl Fogarty, visit www.bike4lifefest.com. It only costs £5 to register with all proceeds raised going to MAAC. The lucky winner will be chosen at random from those registered for the Ride Out on Friday 17th April. The winner must have their own roadworthy motorbike and a full motorcycle licence. Additional Terms and Conditions apply. Entrance to the Bike4Life Festival is free, however, organisers encourage donations to the charity on the day.
