Bike Alert Plc is a leading supplier to the motorcycle industry worldwide with our UK headquarters located in Crayford, Kent. We are enjoying rapid growth and, due to expanding workloads, we are seeking an exceptional candidate to join our team as a Technical Advisor / Assistant.

Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:

  •     providing technical assistance
  •     responding to specialist parts enquiries
  •     monitoring our sponsorship programme for road race and motocross teams

A very competitive salary package will be awarded to the successful candidate depending on experience. This is a full time role with a 37.5 hour working week (Monday to Friday 09:00 a.m. - 17:30 p.m.). Additional hours may be required, on occasion, to meet the needs of the business.

Reporting to the UK Sales Manager, this is an exciting and varied role with the opportunity to increase responsibilities as the business grows. You will have previous motorcycle industry experience, a strong parts and technical background, together with an unhealthy obsession and passion for motorcycle sport with a natural ability to engage with others and build strong working relationships.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will have previous motorcycle industry experience, ideally from a customer service / mechanic / parts / sales / technician background. You will also be a team player with a highly professional approach to your work.

Essential In order to be considered for this position you should:

  •     Possess excellent customer service skills
  •     Be a confident and professional communicator
  •     Possess initiative with a willingness to learn and improve
  •     Be computer literate

You will be totally focused on customer care and be a confident communicator with excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Above all else you will have an unhealthy obsession and passion for motorcycle sport with a natural ability to engage with others and build strong working relationships.
