Yamaha has not only signed up for the relocated International Dirt bike Show, it has taken its biggest stand ever, according to organiser Mortons Media Group, which also says that since the news broke that the event was moving to Stafford County Showground from Stoneleigh Park, feedback has been positive – "from both a trade and enthusiast perspective".
The show will be held over two days, 28/29 September.
Jeff Turner, marketing manager of Yamaha, said: “The annual Dirt Bike Show continues to provide us with a unique opportunity to showcase Yamaha off-road products and we are delighted to be able to support Mortons again for its new 2019 event, as it develops and invests in the show to ensure its future viability and success.
“The exciting changes that are planned, along with the different venue, look set to take the event to a new level, while the revised timing and cost restructuring should ensure support from the industry and, in turn, increases to visitor numbers.”
Although the show coincides with the Motocross of Nations at Assen, organisers Mortons Media Group intends to cater for race fans at the show with a live stream throughout the weekend.
