NEWS: Oxford Products signs up Michael Laverty

Oxford Products has signed Michael Laverty as its first head-to-toe-sponsored rider in the British Superbikes Championship.

Most significantly, Michael will be wearing Oxford branded race leathers and gloves.

"These are not only Oxford’s first leathers to feature in BSB," said the distributor's marketing director Henry Rivers Fletcher, "they are the company’s first leathers, full stop!

"As part of the single largest investment in product development in Oxford’s history, Laverty’s race leathers sit at the top of a new range of highly spec’d but sensibly priced leather garments. Michael will also be promoting Oxford Layers, as well as HJC helmets and Alpinestar boots (both brands are exclusively distributed by Oxford in the UK)."

Laverty returns to BSB after a two-year stint in MotoGP with Aprilia, heading up a TYCO BMW assault on the BSB title this year.
