Massimo Tamburini

Tamburini’s huge talent first drew accolades for his ground-breaking frame and single-shock suspension designs at Bimota, a company of which he was one of the three founding partners. He went on to establish a long and fruitful relationship with the late Claudio Castiglioni, initially at Cagiva then Ducati and latterly MV Agusta.

Undoubtedly the most famous bike that came off his drawing board was the iconic Ducati 916. He was also responsible for the original MV Agusta F4 750 and its successors, the F3 675 and the Brutale.
