The event, from 24-26 May, will feature historic classic cars and world-class BMX stunts to monster truck shows and crazy freestyle motocross FMX stunts and jumps. The historic pier will be used for Bournemouth’s first ever jump attempts.
The East Cliff, overlooking the beach, will host a live-action, closed-road demonstration course where visitors can get close to the sights and sounds of racing cars, sleek supercars and bikes in action. Plus, there will be two parades each day as well as sideshows, trade stalls and places to eat.
The town centre will be home to wheel-themed displays, the demonstration cars paddock area and a pre-war vintage car display in the Pavilion car park.
Saturday and Sunday evenings will also see parades of cars and bikes around the town centre, and a Classic Vehicle Pageant is planned for Meyrick Park, where hundreds of classic cars, bikes and other vehicles will gather each day as part of the Wheels Festival.
