Casino bike sale for big players

BONHAMS is gearing up for its high-profile bikes-only sale on Thursday, 9 January, 2014, at Bally's Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.

This glamour auction offers 204 motorcycles plus memorabilia. Entries include more than 50 machines from the Wayne Pierce Museum of Harley-Davidsons, and more than 25 Ducatis – pictured is Lot 363, a 1978 Ducati 900 NCR, which is expected to fetch £55,000-£67,000 - from the Jack Silverman Museum of Ducatis.

The biggest buck top estimate is $185,000 (£114,000) for a 1984 Ducati TT1 racer campaigned by Team Leoni in America. The last rider on this machine was 1991 AMA Pro Twin GP1 champion Pablo Real.
