POLARIS INDUSTRIES IS SET TO RELAUNCH WITH INDIAN CHIEF MODEL

Indian relaunch

Polaris Industries is set to relaunch the Indian motorcycle brand with an all-new 2014 Indian Chief model at the giant Sturgis bike rally in the US state of South Dakota on 3 August.

This event takes place two and a half years after Polaris acquired the most recent incarnation of this historic business from Anglo-Italian entrepreneur Stephen Julius and undertook a complete redesign of its product range. Billed with maximum hubris as “history in the making” and “a new era in American motorcycling”, unveiling will take place at the Sturgis Motorcycle Museum.

The bike will then make its first European appearance a month later during European Bike Week at Faak am See in Austria, from 3–8 September. This will be followed by a more formal presentation at the EICMA trade fair in Milan on 7-10 November.
